Strawberry swing @ Cameron Highland

I feel so rejuvenated back from Cameron Highland despite the exhausted driving, although I'm not the one who drive, Danny did...still, the journey is tiring.. Nevertheless, I really love the weather and the greenary scene there. It's so relaxing; we don't need to do much activities to feel like a vacation, we just walk around for some sight seeing, having steamboat dinner at the hotel, shop at the pasar tani and play with the kids... It's really fun spending time with my beloved, I call it a quality time..

While on our way to Cameron Highland, we had the famous Duck Leg noodle at Bidor. It's so nice and we had the same again on our journey home. The "Wu Gok" (The deep-fried-round-thingy made by yam) is very yummy too. Slurp~~

We were at the orchid farm, I was tempted to buy a pot home, but I didn't at the end because Goppy is enough for me to take care of. Hehe.

One of the must-do in Cameron Highland - strawberry plucking, but as seen from the picture above, we hardly spot a "good looking" see-toh-beh-lei.. however, it's kinda special experience for the kids, they were so excited at the strawberry farm; I felt the joy of seeing them having fun, "it's such, it's such a perfect day~~~" just like the Strawberry Swing of Coldplay. But seriously, I think it's better to just buy a box from the pasar malam la, aiks.. So end up we bought few boxes of see-toh-beh-lei from the pasar malam, it's really BIG, see the picture below..

Then the next morning while heading out to the pasar tani. I really love the weather there, it's so nice and cool.

The kids had a lot of fun, and they like to stick with Danny gor gor, haha, he must be very tired la, but Jing Jing my niece is so caring enough to give him a massage, so sweet isn't it?

A Beautiful Blessed Day

Due to late night working on the night before until 3am++, I have the privilege to work from home for today. However, I don't have much task on hand and basically it means all I need to do is checking my email every hour to see if there are any new task coming in. Pretty relax isn't it?

I woke up at 10am, seeing Goppy playing by himself beside my bed; it put a smile on my face because I'm glad that he didn't disturb my sleeping, what a good boy :). Then I turned on my laptop. While waiting for my laptop to boot up, I took my sweet time to make myself a cuppa and toast with cheese to kick start a good morning. I enjoyed it with all the windows in my house widely opened, let the sunlight warm the floor and sofa, hearing the splashing from the swimming pool, feeling the breeze from the balcony.. Even Goppy also love it and sleep on my lap soundly, so manja~

Then after finish all my task for the day, I do the housekeeping and laundry too. Hehe, I'm so proud when seeing my house all clean and sparkling. After that I sneak out to the market near by to buy ingredients for dinner.

Menu of the day :
- Herbal Chicken Soup
- Tau fu with minced pork and salted fish
- Vegetable in oyster sauce
- Honeydew for dessert

Sound great? Right after I finish the cooking, Danny came back from work, the timing is just nice. Today I tried the taufu recipe provided by Chrys, wow, really yummy eh, I like it but still got room for improvement, hmmm. The fun of cooking will never be complete if that's not for your love one.

Albeit what I did today it's not a great achievement, it might be just an ordinary day for a housewife, but seriously I'm kinda satisfied and feeling contented.

Please Help This Puppy from Pulau Ketam

My heart sank after reading this news, how can those people being so cruel to the animal? Do the person who make this happen use his brain to think the consequences of this? has he ever being educated to respect life? Does he believe in karma? He is so bloody stupid, shame on him!

Mother's Day

Mum, it's Mother's Day again. This is the day which brings me down as it makes me miss you even more; Mother's Day has became so meaningless to me since you left us. It saddened me each time I think of you, so I hold myself from recalling the precious moment we spent, putting away my journal which has so many stories about you, and stop looking back your photos as well. Honestly, it helps, it's true that I have walked through the grief and the loss doesn't depress me so much anymore. But I started to worry now, it seems like the memory we shared is fading away day after day, I'm afraid I can't recall how you looks like anymore, and I'm afraid I have no stories to tell my kids in future about their grandmother. Mum, I don't want to forget about you, I want to put you in my heart forever, and remind myself you are always my star and the person who loves me the most on Earth. Till then, I realize I'm still missing you terribly. Mum, I love you. Happy Mother's Day.

My Goppy

It's been a month since we brought Goppy home.

He is still not fully toilet-trained yet, although most of the time he will pee in his cage, but still sometimes he seems has forgotten where is his bathroom, -_-'''. He is no longer new to this place, I'm worrying it is getting too late to toilet train him. I keep my finger crossed, hopefully he won’t pee on my sofa anymore.

However, I’m proud that he is a fast learner to new command; he is able to understand our command and do some tricks already. What a cutie pie, every morning when he is out of his cage, he will jump to the bed to wake me up by licking my face. Then while we get back home from work, he will wag his tail like mad and rub his body on our leg. Very manja la... hehe..

It really need patience to have a dog, if you aren’t a dog lover, you will find it troublesome to train the dog, feed him on time, bathe him, not to mention to clean up his pee and poo. But all this fuss is worthy to me when I see my Goppy growing up everyday. He can really brighten up my day.

Dog is really our best fren, no matter how moody u looks like when u are home, he will always welcome you like never seen u for ages, yet he will never neglect you by sticking his face to the monitor all day long, and never complaint you don't wash the dishes and do the laundry, it's better than having a bf, :p. It is very true the saying "your pet is part of your life, but you are everything for your pet", so if you have a dog, please treat him nicely with care and love, keep in mind, you are your pet's everything.
