The Hibiscus CottageWe stayed at the Hibiscus Cottage for 2 days. The cottage is surrounded by a great view of paddy field. The cottage itself has very rich resemblance to the Balinese culture; the doors, the windows, the furniture are all a nice piece of art with the fine craft on it. I felt like a princess staying in an ancient palace, haha.
At night, we can hear the cricket chirping and frog croaking which makes it a soothing lullaby, and there are fire flies on the paddy field under the starring night too. It is really a good place for relaxation, what's more?it only cost at rm90 per night! But there is no air-cond and Angeline dislike it because she said the deco looks spooky. Haha.
The greenary from the balcony of our cottage
On the first night, we decided to rent motorcycles to explore the Ubud. It was fun!!!! By asking around the locals, we able to find the restaurant for the famous Bebek Bengil a.k.a Dirty Duck. The food was great as well as the ambiance. Then we thought of looking for massage parlour but too bad it was closed although it was just about 10pm. Thus we just drove around the Ubud again and went back to our cottage to feel like a prince/princess again.. :D
The door and the corridor
The bathroom and the exit to the balcony. It's really nice to have a cuppa at the balcony under the starring night.
