TEMNL - Part 7 - Wallpaper

BORING~~~

Let's do something on it!

Use double sided tape to stick it on the wall before take the sticker off.

After more than an hour, it's finally done. I was being told by the girl who sold this to me it's not that difficult to do this. She is partially correct. It is not difficult but not too easy though, my legs start to tremble after 15 minutes standing on the ladder. Besides, I need to climb up and down the ladder whenever I am done with one stick of the sticker. It really need patience to take out the sticker and stick on the wall carefully to ensure it won't torn nor got bubble beneath under the sticker.

Tadaa! It's done! Did it from afternoon till evening. So tired yet great sense of achievement. Just notice it is matching with my floral pattern lamp too. Feels so romantic eh.. hehe

I Don't Miss You At All - Norah Jones

As I sit and watch the snow
Fallin' down
I don't miss you at all
I hear children playin' laughin' so loud
I don't think of your smile

So if you never come to me
You'll stay a distant memory
Out my window I see lights going dark
Your dark eyes don't haunt me

And then I wonder who I am
Without the warm touch of your hand
And then I wonder who I am
Without the warm touch of your hand

As I sit and watch the snow
Fallin' down
I don't miss you at all
I don't miss you at all
I DON'T MISS YOU AT ALL

却也可能伤得彻底

保持距离 就能保护自己
却也注定永远寂寞

To end my nomad life - Part 6 - My Room

I have shifted in to my Gu Poh Nguk since last few weeks, but still yet to settle down. Too many things to do, too little time; especially at my slumber and slow pace. The living hall is not furnished except the sofa, that's why I seldom laze around at the living hall; I spend most of my time in my room.

My room is very messy, I have no drawer nor book rack yet to store my stuff. Nevertheless, I love my wardrobe and platform, it makes my room feel so cosy. I can look at the sky outside of my full-length window while lying on bed; and I can see and hear the kids having fun at the swimming pool from my room too... Aw, I just love my room so much except there is no book rack yet to store my precious books.

Love it

Mattress just arrived, haven't get a bedsheet for it. :p. You can also see the sun is so striking in the evening due to it facing west.

Close shot of the curtain in my room. With two layers.

This is the curtain in my living hall. Actually I don't quite like it, and there is only single layer. I am thinking to add another curtain rod and make it to double layer just like the one I am having in my room.

The Awakening

It is my sister's suggestion to attend "The Awakening" concert at the eleventh hour. There I bought the tickets a day before the concert for myself, my 2 sisters, my sister's colleague and my colleague - Chia Lee. As per our expectation, we can't get a good seats, but good enough that we are still able to get the ticket.

This is a charity show that showcase the talents of performers from China and Malaysia, the proceeds of this concert will fund the operating expenses of the Amriteswari Foundation centers in Puchong, Semenyih and Penang.

The show was great, especially the performance performed by the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe. These hearing impaired artistes have toured the world extensively and front-lined at the Beijing Paralympics this year. Can you believe that? They are deaf yet can dance so gracefully. Bravo!

The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. It's definitely a WOW.

Wow!

The Soul of a Peacock - I personally love this one the most.

So gracefully. I think she was being caged with a peacock for months to catch the feel of how to being one. :p

Butterfly Lovers - 梁山伯与祝英台

Green Seedlings - a lively dance, the "grass" is so cute.

Yellow Earth - another lively dance, can feel the "umph"

Besides, I was impressed by the DeafBeat drum troupe which comprises by local deaf musicians. This being said people with disabilties in our very own country which passionate about art is now given chance to join this fast growing drum troup which established by YMCA since 2007.

The DeafBeat Drum Troupe

All the performers in this concert were not here for our symphaties; they show us that though their lives are a bumpy journey, yet they strive and work hard to overcome the obstacles in order to pursuit their dream. Shouldn't we give our full support to them and feel gladful for having what we have?

N/A

I know you must hate me now. If it makes you any happier, my life is no better than yours, but why compete? This is how I survive. The Tammy you know is long gone, I sincerely wish you have a good life ahead.
